The Flinders University Choral Society
FUCS is a non-auditioned choir based at the Flinders University of South Australia. It is made up of a mixture of Flinders University students, ex-students, staff, and anybody else who wants to be involved. If you like singing and want to be a part of FUCS, please contact us. New members are always welcome and remember, we don't audition. If you haven't sung in a choir before, you are welcome too.
FUCS performs a number of concerts each year, both on our own and in association with other groups. We also sing at graduation ceremonies, weddings, and carolling gigs. Programs include many diverse styles including religious, contemporary and popular works. FUCS has a bit of a reputation for having fairly adventurous repertoire choices, but people like a good, loud Mass every now and then too. So we do a bit of everything.
Being a part of FUCS is a fantastic experience. We're a very sociable bunch. Besides our singing we have various social events throughout the year including camps, pub crawls, parties, an Annual Dinner and Intervarsity Choral Festivals.
